報告簡介： This study investigates the growth trend of trade flows through intermediations in China. We find that after China’s WTO accession, trade flows through carry-along firms increase substantially. In contrast, trade flows through intermediaries sharply decrease. We develop a matching model, in which each firm (producer) endogenously select their exporting mode: direct exporting, exporting through carry-along firms, or intermediaries, to rationalize the differential patterns for carry-along and intermediary trade.
報告人簡介：譚用博士畢業於美國範德堡大學⤴️，一直致力於國際貿易方向研究👧🏽🪯。研究方向聚焦於用動態結構模型將異質性貿易理論從比較靜態研究拓展到動態均衡👨🦯➡️。主要研究成果發表於International Economic Review, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Review of International Economics, World Economy, International Review of Economics and Finance, 世界經濟等國內外頂級期刊。
